Day Passes are a low commitment option for working in our studio. Included in the ticket price is 5lbs of clay, access to our facilities, tools and underglazes.

2. Attend your session at the start time for orientation.

• Does not include instruction
✷ No storage or returning to your piece after Sunday. (Pieces are uncovered the following Monday to prep for firing)
✷ No special glazing requests
Staff will clear glaze and fire your creations

What is considered “Studio Experience”?
✷ any past ceramics class, one Workshop or Class at the Digs
✦ Studio Monitor on staff
✦ 5LB of clay included.

Digs staff will fire and clear glaze your work.
Pick up in 4-6 weeks, look out for an email around this timeframe!
Class students are welcome to come in during Day Pass hours to continue working on a project. This is useful if you need more time, or missed a session and want more studio time.
There is no instructor on site for class make-up, so we recommend checking in with your instructor on the best time to take your make-up, so you feel best prepared to navigate the self-guided open studio.
You may utilize the weekend hours between the first and last session of your class.

Shelf Rental

2’x2’ shelf to store personal items. Utilize the community studio to work and your shelf for storage. 24/7 access, in house clay and glazes.

Kiln Firing Included

* Kiln firing included up to 3.5 cubic feet of kiln space every month. Additional firings will be invoiced at kiln rental rates.
Members are required to provide their own tools and purchase clay from the Digs. We offer a white stoneware, red stoneware, brown speckled stoneware, and a porcelain body for $2/LB.
Studio firings are scheduled at the discretion of the studio manager, not individual timelines.
Members must keep a tidy workspace and shelf for dust safety.

Private Studios

8'x8’ private studios for your private practice. Residency includes a private studio space to fill with your personal items. Residents have 24/7 access to their private space, community facilities, and kiln access.

Resident members are expected to be self-sufficient in providing their own materials, tools, and studio items.
Members are required to keep a clean studio space for dust safety.
Residents are able to schedule kiln firings with the approval of the studio manager. Kiln authorization is necessary.
Studios are roughly 8’x8’ and range in price from $350-$450 a month.
Term options are 6 months or 12 months.
